Programs & Events

Our programs are open to the public and are generally suitable for ages 7th grade and up.

We always have programs in the works! Connect to our calendar here. And look through the descriptions of upcoming events and programs on this tab. Many happen at the Jewish Community Center. Others happen in the locations of our partners throughout the community. Most are free or low cost – just enough to cover materials.

MCHE commemorates these important events annually:

  • International Holocaust Remembrance Day – January 2
  • Yom Hashoah – the 27th of Nisan (falls in late April or early May)
  • Operation Barbarossa – June 22
  • The November Pogrom (Kristallnacht) – November 9-10

Second Generation Speakers Bureau

MCHE’s Second Generation Speakers Bureau features the children of survivors sharing their parents’ memories of the Holocaust as well as their own perspectives on growing up with a parent who is a Holocaust survivor.
