Program Associate

The Midwest Center for Holocaust Education teaches the history of the Holocaust, applying its lessons to counter indifference, intolerance, and genocide. We serve Kansas, Missouri, and the Midwest. Founded in 1993, our work centers on educational outreach to the community through programs for secondary students, their educators, adult learners, and commemorative programming in the community. We work extensively with schools, school systems, and partners throughout Kansas City and the Midwest.

MCHE seeks a talented professional to serve as our Program Associate. This position is responsible for the primary support of our programs for secondary students and their educators. A well-qualified candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills and demonstrate an ability to work well independently and within a small team environment. The Program Associate will work directly with MCHE’s Executive Director and Director of Education to administer and facilitate high-quality Holocaust education programs.

This is a full-time, exempt position which requires some evening and/or weekend hours. MCHE operates in a hybrid work environment – time in the office is required. The position begins immediately with a 90-day orientation period.
