Four Children
KC ACTORS THEATRE PRESENTS WORLD PREMIER “FOUR CHILDREN”
IN CONJUNCTION WITH AUSCHWITZ EXHIBIT AT UNION STATION
Kansas City Actors Theatre, the resident professional repertory theater company at City Stage in Union Station, announces the world premier of “Four Children,” opening Thursday, October 7 for three weeks. Tickets go on sale Monday, August 9 at www.kcactors.org.
An emotionally-charged theatrical event, “Four Children” presents the first person accounts of four budding young writers who lived during the Holocaust and genocides in Armenia, Cambodia and Sarajevo. Their voices remind us that, without vigilance, tragedies like the ones they experienced can happen anywhere, anytime.
“Four Children” will be performed Wednesday thru Saturday nights at 7:30pm with matinees on Wednesday at 12:00 noon and Sunday at 2:00pm. Tickets go on sale Monday, August 9 thru KC Actors Theatre’s website at www.kcactors.org. Patrons attending the “Auschwitz. Not Long Ago. Not Far Away” at Union Station can purchase discounted tickets to “Four Children” if they attend a performance on the same day they tour the exhibit. Those discounted tickets will be available beginning August 9 at the Union Station website www. unionstation.org/event/auschwitz/.
Masks will be required and social distancing will be practiced at City Stage during performances of “Four Children.”
