MCHE’s Second Generation Speakers Bureau features the children of survivors sharing their parent’s memories of the Holocaust as well as their own perspectives on growing up with Holocaust survivors. Speakers are available for one-hour presentations to student groups (7th grade and up) as well as adult and community groups.
Please note that our speakers are not historians. Their personal perspectives are intended to personalize the history of the Holocaust. For student groups, please note that the presentation should be scheduled so that students are already well acquainted with the history in advance of these presentations.
Contact Shelly Cline at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
ONE HOUR PRESENTATIONS may be arranged for community groups or school groups of 7th through 12th grade audiences within the 11-county metro area,* and are subject to speaker availability. While there is no cost for these presentations, donations to MCHE in honor of the speakers are greatly appreciated.
A PANEL PRESENTATION for school groups in grades 7-12 are scheduled at the Jewish Community Campus in April and November each year for a small registration fee. Priority scheduling is offered for non-metro schools otherwise unable to schedule a speaker.
