Chevra Event for the Families of Survivors

6:30 PM Meet-and-Mingle in the Stilwell Room followed by 7 PM exhibition viewing

Please note the following changes made for your safety and in response to the Kansas City, Missouri mask mandate.

  • Masks are required inside Union Station and in the exhibition.
  • We welcome you to come for a meet-and-mingle beginning at 6:30 pm in the Stilwell Room. We will be able to access the exhibit at 7 pm.
  • We are no longer able to serve food. Bottled water will be available at the meet-and-mingle. Please eat before arrival.
  • Those who are not comfortable mingling are welcome to join us at 7 pm for exhibition entry.
  • This event is reserved for the families of survivors ages 12 and up.

  • Reservations: Reservations are available for $20/person. Your payment helps defray the costs of exhibit tickets, parking and the social hour. Reservations are required for entry. Each child and grandchild of a survivor is invited with a guest. We are accepting reservations on a first-in basis and request a reply by Tuesday, August 10. Purchase options are available below.
  • Limited capacity: This event is reserved for the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Holocaust survivors and a guest.
  • Survivors: If your survivor parent/grandparent has not yet visited the exhibit, they may receive a complimentary ticket to this event until capacity has been reached. Email Jessica Rockhold at jessicar@mchekc.org to inquire.
  • Age recommendation: The exhibit is appropriate for those 12 years and older.
  • COVID restrictions: Masks are required inside Union Station and the exhibition. Union Station is following the protocols of Kansas City, Missouri.
  • Additional support appreciated: For anyone interested in making an additional contribution to offset the event costs, we gratefully accept donations of $100. This includes 2 tickets to the exhibition and parking. Amounts over $20 per issued ticket for this event are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Your donation will be acknowledged at the event.
  • Plan for the event: No strollers. No bags except clear bags for medical necessities. No food/drink/gum. Limit phone usage. Wheelchairs and walkers allowed. Plan to spend at least 2 hours in the exhibition.
