Surviving Hitler – The Play

Join us for the premiere of this new work, commissioned by The White Theatre at The J, and sponsored by The Midwest Center for Holocaust Education. “Surviving Hitler” is a stage adaptation of the award-winning book of the same name by acclaimed author, Andrea Warren. The play, adapted for the stage by Warren herself, with the help of veteran director, Tim Bair, dramatizes the Holocaust experiences of Jack Mandelbaum, co-founder of The Midwest Center for Holocaust education. Jack’s story, like so many others, tells an inspiring tale of ingenuity and courage in the face of overwhelming adversity and evil … a tale that should never be forgotten.
