Centropa. Founded in 2000 with the goal of preserving Jewish memory in Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, the Baltics, and the former Soviet Union. They collect memories of the entire 20th century – including the Holocaust but not solely focused on it. Centropa uses audio testimony, photographs, personal documents, and recipes collected from interviewees to create documentary films, thematic websites, illustrated books, podcasts, and educational materials.
