Eric Marcus, founder and host of the award-winning Making Gay History podcast discusses the experiences of LGBTQ people during the rise of the Nazi regime, World War II, and the Holocaust. Drawing on extensive research conducted for this first-of-its-kind audio documentary, Eric will share clips from archival interviews that bring this painful, often hidden history to life through the voices of the people who lived it.

Journalist and author Eric Marcus is the founder and host of the award-winning “Making Gay History” podcast, which mines his decades-old audio archive of rare interviews to bring LGBTQ history to life through the voices of the people who lived it. He is also co-producer of “Those Who Were There,” a podcast drawn from Yale University’s Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies. He is the author and co-author of a dozen books and was a founding board member of the American LGBTQ+ Museum
