Annual Kristallnacht Commemoration Featuring Dr. Rebecca Erbelding, historian at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum This year’s annual Kristallnacht commemoration features Dr. Rebecca Erbelding, historian with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, discussing American media coverage of Kristallnacht — exploring what Americans knew and what actions they thought possible. Dr. Erbelding is a historian of U.S. responses to the Holocaust and the author of Rescue Board: The Untold Story of America’s Efforts to Save the Jews of Europe (Doubleday, 2018), winner of the 2018 National Jewish Book Award for Writing Based on Archival Material (the JDC-Herbert Katzki Award), and  a historian, educator, curator, and archivist at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. No registration required.
