From the Heart: A Client-Connected Project
Many schools are incorporating real-world learning into their curriculums. MCHE would like to collaborate with teachers and students who wish to gain college and career-ready skills by working on a client-connected project. The project described in this lesson plan uses a book titled From the Heart: Life Before and After the Holocaust--A Mosaic of Memories. This text features portraits of Holocaust survivors who rebuilt their lives in the Kansas City area. MCHE welcomes collaborative project ideas from students and teachers.
