One Hour Presentations may be arranged for community groups or school groups of 7th through 12th grade audiences within the 11-county metro area*, and are subject to speaker availability. While there is no cost for these presentations, donations to MCHE in honor of the speakers are greatly appreciated.
Panel Presentations for school groups in grades 7-12 are scheduled at the Jewish Community Campus in April and November each year for a small registration fee. Priority scheduling is offered for non-metro schools otherwise unable to schedule a speaker.
*The 11-county metro area includes Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas and Cass, Clay, Clinton, Jackson, Lafayette, Platte and Ray Counties in Missouri.
Please note that our speakers are not historians. Their personal perspectives are intended to personalize the history of the Holocaust. For student groups, please note that the presentation should be scheduled so that students are already well acquainted with the history in advance of these presentations.
Our mission is to teach the history of the Holocaust, applying its lessons to counter indifference, intolerance, and genocide.
