MCHE Director Marks 20 Years of Service

Message from Steve Cole, MCHE Board President

I invite you to join me in congratulating MCHE’s Executive Director, Jessica Rockhold, on a remarkable 20 years of service in support of our mission to educate about the Holocaust.

Jessica joined our team in 2003, having earned her degrees in Modern European history and Museum Studies and having served for a year as the research assistant to Dr. Peter Black, Senior Historian at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Thereafter, and for 17 years, Jessica managed MCHE’s educational programming before being named Executive Director in January 2020.

Over the last three years she adroitly managed our leadership transition, propelled the organization’s work through the pandemic, and spearheaded MCHE’s educational programs in conjunction with the wildly successful exhibition Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away. See below for a snapshot of Jessica’s career highlights.

Jessica’s clear vision for MCHE’s next decade enhances the availability and uptake of MCHE’s educational materials throughout the Midwest, elevating MCHE’s mission to teach the history and apply the lessons of the Holocaust to counter indifference, intolerance, and genocide.

Please honor and support her work with your contribution TODAY!

Be a part of our future.

Our mission is to teach the history of the Holocaust, applying its lessons to counter indifference, intolerance, and genocide.
