Through Hell to the Midwest 5:30 – 7:00 pm Alderson Auditorium, Kansas Memorial Union University of Kansas 1301 Jayhawk Blvd, Lawrence, KS 66045 Please join the KU Jewish Studies Program and MCHE along with campus and community co-sponsors for an evening of learning. “Through Hell to the Midwest: A Holocaust Mapping Project” uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to map the oral testimonies of Holocaust survivors in the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education’s Witnesses to the Holocaust Archive. This groundbreaking work will be presented by creators Dr. Amber Nickell and Hollie Marquess of the History and Philosophy Departments at Fort Hays State University.
