White Rose:
Preview the Contest

Thursday, November 13, 2025
6:00-8:00 p.m. via Zoom

2025-26 Contest Theme:
PROPAGANDA

This workshop is intended for educators of grades 8-12 who plan to teach the White Rose contest this year.
Teachers who are curious about White Rose are also welcome!

Benefits of attendance:

  1. Drs. Shelly Cline and Melissa Karp will provide historical context helpful for teaching this year’s contest topic.
  2. Participants will have the opportunity to analyze the contest documents with the help of other educators and the MCHE team. There are twenty documents this year!
  3. Participants will gain access to teacher “cheat sheets” and citations for the contest documents.
  4. Laura Patton will share information about changes to the 2025-26 contest.
  5. Participants will be able to ask questions and receive answers about the documents and the contest generally.

Unlike previous years, a recording of this workshop will not be made available. Please sign-up and show up!

We would like this workshop to be as interactive as possible. We think the best way for teachers to gain knowledge about the documents is to read and talk about them – in both small and large groups. You know that this sort of learning experience requires prior planning – which falls apart when people don’t show up. Please RSVP, and please keep your date with us! Thanks!
