The use and misuse of AI in Holocaust education is an urgent issue for teachers today. As this quickly developing technology becomes more common, both malicious misinformation and the use of AI images and text with good intentions can feed into renewed denial of the Holocaust.

In response to these concerns, MCHE offers this workshop to advise teachers on some of specific challenges that arise when using AI tools in Holocaust education and lesson generation, and how to confront them. We will also suggest strategies for how to spot AI-generated images and misinformation about the Holocaust, and what to do when you encounter it coming from your students.
